Who You Are

Are you ready to lead the charge in groundbreaking projects? As a Project Manager, you'll be at the forefront of driving impactful initiatives for our diverse clientele. Your mission? To assist in crafting project management strategies that streamline operations, enhance efficiency, and deliver outstanding results.

Your Responsibilities

Strategist:

• Plan and Execute Projects: Design and implement comprehensive project plans that align with clients' unique goals and challenges.
• Align Cross-Functional Efforts: Ensure all project components work harmoniously towards achieving project objectives.

Client Champion:

• Build Strong Relationships: Develop and maintain robust client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
• Communicate Effectively: Create and execute communication strategies that keep all stakeholders informed, engaged, and aligned.

Executer:

• Lead Project Teams: Direct and manage project teams to deliver results on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Utilize Technical Expertise: Leverage your knowledge to optimize project performance and efficiency.
• Facilitate Work Processes: Guide teams in Agile/Scrum practices, fostering self-organization, and facilitating discussion, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
• Provide Support: Use a servant leadership style to support teams and lead by example.

Risk Alchemist:

• Conduct Risk Assessments: Identify potential project risks and develop proactive mitigation strategies.
• Manage Project Risks: Oversee project risks, issues, and progress to ensure goals (e.g., deadlines, scope, and quality) are achieved.

Innovation Architect:

• Stay Ahead of Trends: Integrate innovative practices and technologies to enhance project outcomes.
• Foster Creativity: Encourage a culture of innovation and excellence within your team.
• Identify Improvement Areas: Conduct post-implementation reviews and recommend solutions to improve project management processes.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Analyze Resource Utilization: Evaluate resource usage for ongoing projects and measure future needs.
• Develop Revenue Opportunities: Track and develop additional service revenue within the client’s environment.
• Manage Vendor Tasks: Oversee vendor/subcontractor tasks and review their deliverables.
• Conduct Project Closure Activities: Formalize and communicate project acceptance, complete handover documentation, and perform post-implementation reviews.

Your Qualifications:

• 7-10+ years of project management experience managing multiple and simultaneous IT infrastructure projects
• PM technical background/knowledge in information technology, software development and/or willingness to learn
• Project management delivery tools and best practices – PMBOK or ITIL, Smartsheets, Microsoft Project/Office/Visio
• Knowledge of project management methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall
• PMP or equivalent a plus
• Strong written, oral communications and interpersonal skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and address risks and issues
• External Project Management and customer interaction strongly preferred
